Work that goes on stage is not judged on novelty. Most of the effort went into matching the director's intent and holding a consistent look from scene to scene — not into generating images as such.

Taking a Korean musical to an English-speaking stage is not a translation problem. English is stress-timed; Korean is syllable-timed. An accurate translation will not sit on the same melody.
Scansion AI parses the score in MusicXML, maps syllables to notes, and extracts per-bar constraints — syllable count, stress pattern, rhyme. A language model then generates candidate lines under those constraints, which are validated and ranked. A separate module keeps each character's voice consistent.
The test is not accuracy of translation. It is singability.

July–August 2026. Twelve business owners, four sessions of three hours, twelve hours in total, funded by the centre. Sessions covered first steps with AI, writing prompts, practical use with a current model comparison, and automation.
Many attendees ran print shops, so a separate handbook was written for them — generating design drafts for business cards, flyers, posters, packaging and banners.
A business suite for very small manufacturers (work orders, AI-generated quotations, stock, AI order intake from free-form messages), an ERP for publishing and print, and a tool that searches every spreadsheet in a folder tree and reports the file, sheet and cell.
By the author's own estimate the affected tasks now take roughly a tenth of the time. That is an impression from daily use, not a measured figure.

AI work in Korean live theatre is a small field, and few people move between a West End stage and a print shop's spreadsheet problem. The constraint is the same in both: the output has to survive contact with people who did not ask for AI and only care whether the result works.
